About Mumblark

Last updated: November 8, 2026

Mumblark is a party game for a room full of friends and one phone. Player 1 says a line, everyone after copies only the voice before theirs, and the chain plays back at the end. It is the old whisper-down-the-lane game, played with voices you can hear again.

It plays right here, in your browser, on the home page. We are making it into an app too, and the waitlist is how you hear the day it is out.

What we hold to

  • Your voice stays on your phone. The takes live in the page while you play and are never uploaded. The privacy page says exactly what is kept, and where.
  • No account, no sign-in. Type the names and play.
  • An honest score. The drift score compares how long the takes are and how their loudness moves. It never pretends to understand the words.
  • Our own lines. Every line player 1 reads is one we wrote, short and silly on purpose.

Who answers your mail

Lena Whitcomb answers Mumblark’s mail. A small team makes the game, and Lena passes on every bug report, idea and new line to the person who can act on it.
