We want everyone to be able to read and use Mumblark, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use.
Our aim
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This is the standard we work toward; we do not claim that every page already meets it.
What we work on
- Text alternatives for images.
- Headings in a logical order, so a screen reader can move through a page.
- Enough contrast between text and its background.
- Pages that can be used with a keyboard alone.
- Text that stays readable when you zoom to 200%, and a layout that works on a phone.
What may still fall short
Mumblark is new, and this site carries no advertising and no content from other services. The game itself is played by listening and speaking, so a player who cannot hear or speak may not be able to take a turn; its names, buttons and reveal are large and named for a screen reader, and the line is shown in text at the end. If something is hard to use for you, tell us, as below. We fix problems as we find them.
Tell us about a problem
If something on Mumblark is hard to use, or does not work with your assistive technology, please write to hello@mumblark.com or use our contact page. Tell us the page address and what happened, and we will do our best to fix it or to get you the information another way.
